Values define economies or as the British put it ‘You get what you pay for’. We wish to be part of a project that is self-financing in its core activities and that puts a high value on creating and maintaining an Islamic culture that is true to Divine Guidance and relevant to our everyday experiences here in Bradford. The alloy wheel economy in Bradford is huge and this is a comment on our aspirations for ourselves and our children. We seek through this project to challenge these values. We suggest that it would be more appropriate within the context of Eternity that we focus some of our efforts and begin to value more perhaps that which will help us secure the Eternal over the temporary.

Our aim with this project is that its core finances should be secured from within the community itself. To this end, we are seeking to ask all friends and supporters to donate towards this project and to do this through regular contributions. We wish to create a space in which there is support for the development of a Muslim community that is culturally relevant and appropriate to the needs of the second generation in particular.
